Many people don’t realize that a waterbed mattress made of vinyl has to be protected by a waterbed mattress pad under the waterbed sheets to prevent hardening and cracking of the vinyl, due to the permeation of bodily oils (sweat) into the vinyl. Your vinyl waterbed mattress will remain soft and pliant with the use of a non-allergenic mattress pad in conjunction with your waterbed sheets. Mattress pads also insulate your waterbed, preventing heat loss, and saving electricity. They also provide an added layer of comfort to your bed. You’ll thank us in the morning.
